2008 Atlanta Falcons
At the start of the year, Atlanta Falcons named Thomas Dimitroff as General Manager. Then the Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coach Mike Smith was named the Falcons' new head coach. Later, Matt Ryan, a Quarterback from Boston College, was drafted 3rd overall and in the 2008 NFL Draft.

In 2007, Micheal Vick is now known for being the first player to be banned from the NFL. It's a sad way to be remembered, and now a question mark lies ahead for ATL. The question was can Joey Harrington fill in properly - in spite of being sacked by Detroit, and his terrible passing game? It seems that despite his talent, Vick has jeopardized not only his carreer, but the chances of his team ever winning the division.
